AUTUMN 2021: WINDOW WANDERLAND
Wiltshire Creative and Salisbury BID are bringing Window Wanderland to the streets of Salisbury! Window Wanderland is a national project which brings communities together, reducing social isolation and inspiring creativity by transforming streets into magical outdoor galleries. We are seeking participating groups to create a window display which will be installed in a city window trail in November, the artwork should be inspired by the themes of Diwali and provides an ideal opportunity to bring the learning about this celebration to life. It is free to participate, each group will be supported to create their own window display supported by resources or a visit from an artist before being displayed in the city. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like your school or community group to take part.
The Wiltshire Creative Young Ambassadors scheme is open to any young person aged 14-21. Our Young Ambassadors are individuals who are interested in a variety of artforms and support Wiltshire Creative’s work with young people in Salisbury and the wider county. The group meets fortnightly to discuss how Wiltshire Creative can be more responsive and made more relevant and exciting for young people in the local community. There is also the opportunity to get involved in projects and programmes which crop up throughout the year.
The Young Ambassadors’ most recent project was SHIFT
