Love comics, manga and graphic novels?

Then come along in October half-term and develop your drawing, storytelling and comic-making skills in this inclusive and supportive workshop with illustrator Robin Henley.

All abilities are welcome, whether you’re new to the world of comics and looking for an introduction, or are an experienced creator looking to hone your skills. After some warm-up exercises, you’ll learn how comics work, about the conventions of visual storytelling, and how to break down your story idea before planning and drawing a comic page.

Basic drawing materials will be provided, but feel free to bring any of your preferred drawing tools with you.

The workshop will include a short break for lunch – please bring a water bottle and a packed lunch with you.
