THE BIG INTERVIEW with Artist Sally Firino
THE BIG INTERVIEW with artist Sally Firino
We are proud to feature a range of artists and friends through this series of Wiltshire Creative Connects films we created during the Spring of 2020.
Bringing personalities centre stage
It’s time to grab a cuppa and enjoy a full-length conversation with personalities who have worked with Wiltshire Creative in the past, either on stage or behind the scenes.
This week we talk to Salisbury based fine artist Sally Firino. Sally has been shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and was one of six artists shortlisted for the ING Discerning Eye Drawing Bursary at The Mall Galleries London and has her work in many private collections worldwide. Sally will be chatting with local actor Tim Treslove.
Sally Firino is a Salisbury based fine artist. With a passion for teaching and inspiring others, she manages a highly successful, thriving Art and Design department at The Burgate School and Sixth Form College and exhibits her work locally at Wiltshire Gallery and Fisherton Mill. Her line drawing aesthetic sets her apart from other artists and she is inspired by the everyday moments captured in the work of Anita Klein and the humorous observations of Grayson Perry.
