About

Artist of the Week – Congress Collaborators

Our Imagined Futures…

From 2019, two Australian artists Tristan and Bec from an organisation called All The Queens Men, had been visiting Salisbury to listen, learn and dream with local folk.  A diverse group of local Creatives were assembled and new connections were made.  The common goal was to realise a live event called Congress, a citizen’s assembly, amplifying voices less heard within the hallowed nave of the Salisbury Cathedral for the 2020 Salisbury International Arts Festival.

Then the world changed.

Alas, Wiltshire Creative, All The Queens Men and the local Congress collaborators stayed united, steadfastly committed to the collective wish as artists and global citizens to stay connected and creative during these ever evolving times.

A suite of responses to the theme ‘Imagined Futures’ has been created by a fantastic group of local Creatives across art forms and across boundaries, real and perceived.

We all sincerely hope these offerings inspires space to consider and dream into our/your Imagined Futures.

Art + Love + Community,

Tristan and Bec, All The Queens Men
