Young people make our work better!

Wiltshire Creative Young Ambassadors are an proactive group of young people who meet monthly on Mondays 4:30pm-6:30pm. They discuss and help shape our main artistic programme and use their voice and passion in meetings to inspire, produce and create change. This activity is free and open to anyone. The Young Ambassadors are:

• Aged 14-25
• Interested in a variety of art forms
• Enthusiastic about putting forward and developing creative ideas
• Passionate about sustainability and creativity
• Interested in a career in the arts
• Interested in social media marketing and current trends
• Strong communicators, dedicated, enthusiastic, encouraging and inclusive
• Able to be a spokesperson for young people and an advocate for Wiltshire Creative

The Young Ambassador group is a safe environment that provides the space to be imaginative, bold and make a difference, creating positive, impactful change. This organisation values the innovative ideas and dynamic conversation that young people offer; we know that young people provide a fresh perspective on our work. We want to listen to you and learn and implement your ideas.

Over the coming year this group will have a particular focus on our next in-house production of Romeo & Juliet- a brand-new show, taking place in and around Salisbury Playhouse transforming the spaces around the building in summer 2026. The Ambassadors will work closely with the staff, creatives and other agencies, first to help us develop a marketing approach to attract young audiences and then to the audience experience focus, working with us to create a real welcome for young people and wider audiences.
