Our landmark 50th anniversary production of Romeo and Juliet is now open at Salisbury Playhouse and the official production photos are here!

Created especially for this anniversary year, the bold new walkabout production transforms the Playhouse and its surroundings into an immersive world of rival families, live music, movement and high-energy storytelling.

Audiences are invited to step directly into the Montague vs Capulet conflict as the action unfolds around them across the theatre building and beyond. Featuring a professional cast alongside our community ensemble and talented young performers, the production brings Shakespeare’s classic story of love, rebellion and division vividly to life.

As part of the experience, audiences journey through a reimagined Salisbury Playhouse, encountering drama, music and movement in unexpected spaces throughout the venue and its environs.

Romeo and Juliet runs until Sunday 7 June, with less than two weeks remaining to experience this unique theatrical event.
