Professional illustrator Francesca Mclean will introduce you to the art of illustration.  Learn how to design and draw images inspired by a text of your choice, using a variety of techniques and mediums.

Please bring a favourite poem, book or quote with you to the session. All materials provided - no experience necessary!

Francesca Mclean is an illustrator, calligrapher and artist educator based in the New Forest. She creates vibrant, detailed artworks that capture the essence of the natural world through the use of digital illustration, also working with traditional mediums such as gouache paint and coloured pencils. She also enjoys creating playful lettering that is often combined with illustration. Francesca has worked on numerous educational projects with businesses and institutions including the National Trust, The Roche Court Educational Trust and Wiltshire Creative.
