Well-City Salisbury
CommunityWell-City Salisbury
Wiltshire Creative is a proud partner in Well-City Salisbury. Funded by National Lottery Reaching Communities, this project provides free 10-week long creative courses and other opportunities to support people with low to medium mental health needs in the Salisbury area (SP1 – SP5 postcodes).
All Well-City Salisbury courses are facilitated by staff from four partner organisations – ArtCare at Salisbury District Hospital, Wessex Archaeology, Wiltshire Creative and Wiltshire Wildlife Trust – alongside local artists experienced in supporting people with mental health needs.
The courses and support offered are designed for those looking to improve their mental and emotional wellbeing, connect with others, meet new people in a safe and supportive environment, explore new creative skills, or learn more about local heritage and culture.
For more information on current courses, visit wellcitysalisbury.co.uk.
Our Well-City Salisbury facilitator is Take Part practitioner Francesca Myles. Francesca designs and facilitates our offers alongside some of our trusted freelance creatives. Past Wiltshire Creative courses have included Glass Fusion, Drama and Wellbeing, Drawing Closer to Nature, and Space for Sound.

Being part of the Well-City Salisbury programme enables us to connect the unique skills of artists and creatives with the people in our city who can most benefit from the health impacts of creativity and learn how to build it into their everyday lives.
