Arts Award / Artsmark
Arts Award is great way for young people up to the age of 25 to enjoy and be inspired by the arts.
This nationally recognised qualification has five levels which can help lead to further education or employment. Participants set their own arts challenges while keeping a record of their achievements in a portfolio which could be a scrapbook or even a website.
How we can support your Arts Award
As a registered Arts Award Supporter we offer a number of opportunities to help you complete your Arts Award at Discover, Explore, Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.
- attending performances and exhibitions as an audience member or reviewer
- participating in an arts activity and meet artists through our workshop programme
- backstage tour
- work experience
- interviewing artists
- a platform to share your reviews
- one-to-one session with a trained Arts Award Advisor
Some of these opportunities are subject to availability and may be free, provided at subsidised rates or may require you to purchase a ticket.

Artsmark award celebrates schools that champion the arts and strive for excellence in their provision.
The new Artsmark has been designed by and for schools and teachers and will ensure that many more young people can participate in the best arts and cultural experiences.
The refreshed Artsmark will be an irresistible way for schools and other youth educational settings to demonstrate and celebrate the impact of their arts and culture activities. It will be a straightforward way for schools to demonstrate their approach to a broad and balanced curriculum as required by the new Ofsted inspection framework and of supporting them to deliver the new curriculum.
