About our events

The 2026 Salisbury International Arts Festival is now on sale!

This year, we’re transforming Salisbury into a stage for imagination, collaboration, and celebration. Our landmark production of Romeo and Juliet marks 50 years of Salisbury Playhouse, turning the building and surrounding spaces into the streets and homes of Verona. Over 100 community performers will join a professional cast in this bold, immersive promenade experience.

We’re also excited as always to welcome outstanding artists to the Festival. Enjoy stunning live music, including the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra at Salisbury Cathedral and 80s legends T'Pau. Moving dance comes in the form of Lost Dog's Juliet & Romeo and Little Bulb's interactive Listen Dance, and The Lord Chamberlain's Men return with their outdoor Othello. Plus we have events for the little ones, including The Story Forge from award-winning children's theatre company The Rubbish Shakespeare Company, and our very own Family Fiesta at Salisbury Playhouse (both free)!

From music and theatre to dance, conversations and immersive storytelling, there’s something for everyone. Don’t miss this chance to explore, be inspired, and celebrate the arts in Salisbury!

There’s something for everyone at this year’s festival. Book your tickets now and join us for an unforgettable experience!
