Sarah trained in Stage Management and Technical Theatre at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). After training Sarah worked as a Technical Assistant at Salisbury Arts Centre before moving to Salisbury Playhouse where she was Assistant Electrician for 5 years.

Sarah has since worked as a freelance lighting designer, technician and production manager for over 10 years. Most recently she was Lighting Designer for Wiltshire Creative’s production of Romeo and Juliet.

Sarah has always been passionate about working with young people and sharing knowledge to help pursue careers in technical theatre, and has been part of the Academy team since 2017.
