We are delighted to announce that Katie Lias has won Best Costume at The Pantomime Awards 2025, presented by the UK Pantomime Association, for her dazzling designs in Sleeping Beauty.

Artistic Director Gareth Machin said, “We are immensely proud of Katie. This is a fantastic testament to her creativity, talent and hard work. Pantomime is at the core of our artistic vision, and this is a wonderful recognition of the love and care that goes into creating magical theatre for Salisbury.”

Praised as “★★★★★” by The Stage, Sleeping Beauty welcomed over 25,000 audience members during its run from 30 November 2024 – 12 January 2025. Thanks to Wiltshire Creative’s Christmas Appeal, over 800 young people and families who might not otherwise have had the opportunity were able to attend.

Building on the success of previous pantomimes including Dick Whittington, which received three nominations last year, this award highlights Wiltshire Creative’s growing reputation for exceptional festive theatre.

Katie Lias returns to design this year’s giant pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, opening at Salisbury Playhouse this November.
