Were you in on the Salisburyshire Secret? For those who didn’t catch on, the “poor audience member” who was hilariously gunged during the Sleeping Beauty wasn’t just an unlucky bystander. In fact, he was none other than Nic James, the talented actor who doubled as a humble gardener from Alderbury with an incredible singing voice.
Nic’s dedication to the role went above and beyond, enduring the messy fate of being gunged over 70 times ! All in the name of good fun and top-notch entertainment, Nic’s commitment left audiences shocked and laughing in equal measure. For the eagle-eyed among you, Nic actually made a subtle debut in our first day of rehearsals photo. Did you spot him then, blending in seamlessly with the rest of the cast? He was also hiding in our cast and crew family photo!

A huge round of applause for Nic James, who brought Prince Tony to life with humour, heart, and a lot of gunge-y surprises. Thanks for being such a great sport Nic, and for keeping the Salisburyshire Secret alive until the very end!
Now that the secret is out, check out the new trailer, featuring Prince Tony and an exclusive behind the scenes chat with Nic James.
