From September 2026, Wiltshire Creative will be hosting a 6-month Paid Breakthrough placement for young and aspiring arts professionals.

This placement will sit within the busy and vibrant Take Part team, supporting the delivery of a range of creative activities. You will be working with the support of creative practitioners, arts producers and arts engagement specialists. The role will include some work across our Front of House and Box Office teams, to build a broad understanding of the skills required to manage some of our events.

Breakthrough is a 6‑month employability programme based in cultural organisations and supported by Artswork. The programme is designed as a stepping-stone to get you workplace experience and all-important employment skills. This short placement gives you insight into a future career in the Creative Industry, supporting your confidence and professionalism in the workplace, and helping you to break through into a career that matters to you!
