About smART Club

Develop your art skills by exploring drawing and painting through a variety of media and techniques.

All levels are welcome to join these workshops led by artist Sue Martin.

Have you ever wanted to explore your own creativity and learn new ways of making drawings and paintings? Each session will encourage you to play with materials and push boundaries. Every week, you’ll benefit from a combination of one-on-one guidance tailored to your interests, and collaborative group activities designed to inspire and challenge everyone. This supportive environment will help you develop your abilities and extend your confidence. Sessions will include experimenting with charcoal, paint, ink washes, collage techniques, or tackling mixed-media projects to spark new ideas and approaches.

Sue Martin is a freelance artist in Salisbury with over 30 years of experience leading community wellbeing workshops focused on arts and cultural heritage. Her own work centres on art, archaeology, and the history of land. Sue runs workshops for AGE UK, HMP Erlestoke, Well City Salisbury, Wessex Archaeology, and The Young Gallery.
