This friendly Hearts & Flowers class will guide you through the basics of designing and creating fused glass items, perfect as a treat for yourself or as gift for someone special. Using a variety of pre-cut glass and accessories, you will create one medium or 2 smaller items from the following options: Decorative Glass Panel, T-Light, Soap Dish.

At the end of the workshop, these will be fired in a kiln and will be ready for collection about one week later.

No matter what your ability, all are welcome. No prior experience necessary; all materials will be provided.

This workshop will be led by Helen Southwell, a glass artist and teacher based in Salisbury with over 40 years' experience in education. From her studio in Salisbury, Wiltshire, Helen makes kiln-formed and mosaic glass art for the home and garden as well as undertaking larger projects and stained-glass work on commission.
