General Sir Richard Shirreff, KCB, CBE, is a retired senior British Army officer and author of 2017: War with Russia: An Urgent Warning from Senior Military Command. From 2011 - 2014 he served as Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe.

Hamish de Bretton-Gordon OBE is a British commentator on chemical and biological weapons, and a former British Army officer. He was also commanding officer of the UK's Joint Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Regiment and NATO's Rapid Reaction CBRN Battalion. He is now a visiting lecturer in disaster management at Bournemouth University.
