About Creative Careers Week

Creative Careers Week is a deep dive into the world of Wiltshire Creative for young people aged 14-19 curious about real careers in the arts industry. Designed to work as either a Work Experience placement, or a post-exams exploration of creative options for the future, the week takes place at the end of the summer term.

Participants have the chance to get behind the scenes in our venues and learn about the range of creative, technical, administrative and leadership roles in a producing theatre through hands on project work and opportunities to meet key staff from across all departments.

Creative Careers Week is a fantastic real world experience for those interested in acting, technical theatre, stage management, costume, set design and build, arts marketing and administration. The week's activities will not include dance, singing, film, photography, hair, make-up or music.

Spaces are limited to ensure the quality of the experience and we usually receive a high volume of applications.

To be considered for this opportunity, please complete the following application form by Sunday 22nd February 2026. As part of the application process, you may be invited to an informal interview with a member of the Take Part team.
