Explore the wonderful world of glass; experiment with a variety of techniques and materials and produce wonderful glass items.

This small friendly class, aimed especially at young people, will guide through the process of designing and creating items of glass art.

Starting with the use of a simple "pick and stick" approach, adding a variety of inclusions, frits, stringers, wire and glass enamels.

You will make 2 items, choosing from a selection of pre-cut base glass pieces from the following options:

• Hanging Suncatcher
• Plant PotDecoration
• Small Wave
• Tealight
• Trinket Dish
• Soap Dish
• Coaster

At the end of the session, these are fired to a smooth finish in a kiln and will be ready for collection about one week later.

All abilities welcome, no prior experience necessary, all materials provided.
