Make progress over 6 weeks with other young musicians. Come together, under the guidance of experiences music tutor Simon Sheffield, to play together in a band set up, work on songs together and build towards a sharing performance for friends and family.

A perfect offer for young musicians wanting to take the step from lessons to forming bands in a safe, supported and creative setting. Tutors will bring ideas for songs but the style of music will be led by the young people in the room. Any instruments welcome, including voice!

Some experience with an instrument or singing needed, equivalent to Grade 2 or above.

Simon Sheffield is an experienced musician and guitar teacher. He has played in groups performing rock, jazz and folk music, classical ensembles and appeared as a soloist. He has also led youth music bands for many years and is a member of the Salisbury Area Music Cooperative.
