Christmas Appeal Terms & Conditions
About our Christmas Appeal
The Christmas Appeal, Be a Star for Giving aims to ensure that local children, young people, families and individuals who may otherwise be unable to attend can enjoy the pantomime and experience the magic of Christmas as part of their community.
Eligibility Criteria
Priority will be given to:
- Children, young people and families experiencing financial hardship where the cost of attending would otherwise be a barrier.
- Families facing challenging circumstances, including illness, bereavement, disability, domestic abuse, caring responsibilities or other significant life events which cause barriers to accessing arts and culture events.
- Young carers and vulnerable young people.
- Individuals and families experiencing social isolation or who would benefit from greater community connection during the festive season.
- Older people and adults experiencing social isolation, including those living with dementia or other health conditions that may limit opportunities to participate in community activities.
- Individuals and families identified by schools, charities, community groups, social care services, healthcare providers or other trusted partner organisations as meeting the above criteria.
- Participants already known to the organisation through programmes or activities where need has been identified.
Exclusions
The appeal is not intended for:
- General group bookings or organised groups that would normally fund or subsidise their own attendance or participation.
- Applications where support can reasonably be accessed through other available funding routes.
- Requests made directly by members of the public without supporting information from a recognised partner organisation, school, community group or support service (unless otherwise agreed by the organisers).
Allocation of Tickets
- Tickets will be allocated through trusted partner organisations and referral agencies.
- It is the responsibility of partner organisations and referral agencies to distribute tickets within their groups.
- All support is subject to funding and ticket availability.
- Meeting the criteria does not guarantee tickets.
- Allocation decisions will be made based on need and the aim of reaching as many people as possible across the community.
- Wiltshire Creative has the right to make final decisions.
Confidentiality
All information provided will be treated confidentially and used only for the purposes of administering the Christmas Appeal tickets to those in need.
