Wiltshire Creative

Wiltshire Creative – the merged organisation comprising Salisbury Playhouse, Salisbury Arts Centre and Salisbury International Arts Festival - seeks to recruit:

 

SENIOR PRODUCER (permanent, full time)

To support the Executive in the realisation of the artistic vision and strategic goals of the organisation.  He/she will manage the producing team, including the Programmer, act as line producer for in-house productions and co-productions, including their potential future life, supported by the Assistant Producer

The Senior Producer is a Senior Management Team post with overall responsibility for the delivery of Salisbury Playhouse’s artistic programme and management of the producing team.

FESTIVAL PRODUCER (permanent, full time)

To support the Artistic Director in the realisation of the artistic vision of the organisation with particular responsibility for the annual Festival programme.  He/she will act as line producer for all presented work within the Festival programme, negotiating deals with visiting artists and companies.

The Festival Producer will also work closely with the producing team (in particular the Senior Producer) and the in-house planning team (including freelance programmers) to prepare the Festival programme.

PROGRAMMER (permanent, part time)

To support the Producing team in the realisation and delivery of a pan-arts programme of high quality work in The Main House and Salberg (studio) of Salisbury Playhouse and Salisbury International Arts Festival, with the main emphasis being on theatre.

Responsibilities will include identifying visiting work for Salisbury Playhouse and, specifically, theatre for Salisbury International Arts Festival from commercial and subsidised producers as well as negotiating appropriate financial deals.

YOUTH THEATRE LEADER (permanent, full time)

We are seeking a conscientious and creative individual to plan and deliver an exciting and inclusive programme of work for young people in the Wiltshire area. Stage 65 Youth Theatre takes place within our buildings as well as out in the community, this role will deliver regular sessions as well as having the opportunity to direct Youth Theatre productions.

BAR & CATERING SUPERVISOR (permanent, part time)

We are looking for an organised and energetic supervisor to be a key member of the front of house team at Salisbury Playhouse and to assist with administration and staff training within the Bar and Catering team.

CLEANER (part time)

to work up to 12 hours per week 6.00am – 8.00am Monday – Saturday at Salisbury Arts Centre. Rate of pay: £8.21 per hour. Previous experience preferred but not essential. PARTNERSHIPS & FUNDRAISING MANAGER (permanent, full time)

As a key member of a results driven team, you will contribute to our annual fundraising target by managing relationships across a number of different income streams. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge and passion for our artistic and community offer, engage and enthuse individuals and corporates about the work that we do and proactively pursue and successfully deliver funds to enable the continued growth of our artistic and participatory programme.

DEVELOPMENT CO-ORDINATOR (permanent, full time)

As the Development Co-ordinator, you will provide organisational and administrative support for the Development team with particular responsibility for communications with our Members, Producers and Business Partners programmes and key database management and financial tracking and reporting.  You will be able to demonstrate knowledge and passion for our artistic and community offer, be highly motivated and organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks, have excellent communication and client handling skills at events and when liaising with our donors and corporate supporters in writing and on the phone.

TICKET SALES ASSISTANTS (part time)

If you are customer-focussed, with an interest in the arts, we’d love you to join Wiltshire Creative. The Ticket Sales Team works across Salisbury Playhouse and Salisbury Arts Centre, as well as at other locations hosting Wiltshire Creative events. The posts offered are for up to 16 hours per week on a rota basis including evenings and weekends.
