Organised Chaos: Printmaking with Creative Collage
Ripping, tearing, cutting. Arranging, connecting, experimenting. Organised Chaos is a fun-filled morning of creativity exploring colour, shape, and texture to create interesting and playful compositions.
Participants will be shown how to use basic printmaking processes such as mono-print to develop their creative collages and introduce pattern, texture and line into their work in this exciting way. This easy-going and engaging workshop provides an opportunity to get messy with materials and have fun whilst trying something new!
Collaging materials will be provided, however do feel free to bring along any images of your own that you would be happy to cut up and use during the session. It could be a picture of your favourite place or of special object, or an image with a special meaning.
We recommend that you wear old clothing or bring an apron or overshirt with you to wear during the workshop. Please bring a water bottle and snack.
Edward Scott is an artist and recent graduate of Fine Art at Falmouth University. He works mostly with paint but also collage and printmaking. Edward’s work explores the curiosities of the everyday as well as ideas connected with sensory experience, place, and the figure. Edward is currently working with Wiltshire Creative as one of their SHIFT associate artists.
