23 September - 2 December, 7.10pm - 8.10pm
We are excited to announce that our popular weekly adult dance sessions return this Autumn!
Delivered by professional dance practitioner Amie Hawker, Adult Contemporary Dance involves intricate warm-ups followed by sequences which develop participants’ contemporary dance technique, including placement, control, breath and musicality. Sessions also involve a creative element where participants can work on their own choreographic skills and develop their movement vocabulary.
The flow and freedom of contemporary dance makes is an accessible dance technique for dancers at all levels of ability. It is great way to keep the body and brain active coordination as well as socialise with others.
Performance opportunities may also be provided by Wiltshire Creative in addition to the course for those who are interested in performing.
Suitable for participants 18 - 60 but no experience is necessary.
We recommend loose comfortable clothing and bare feet for all classes.
