Birding Antarctica, the Falklands and South Georgia by Keith Betton
Keith has seen over 8300 species of birds in 107 countries. He has travelled to the Antarctic three times and, in this talk, he describes the birds, wildlife and scenery of 3 very cold places! Whether you are amazed by albatrosses and how they circumnavigate the globe, or are perplexed about penguins and how they can stay under the sea for many minutes, this is talk not to be missed.
Keith is an excellent speaker and will thrill us with the stunning birds and other wildlife of Antarctica, the Falklands and South Georgia.
There will also be refreshments and the usual Raffle, RSPB Sales Goods, Bird food, and Tombola with proceeds to RSPB Conservation Projects.
Please note Tickets available on the door only. Doors open 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
