Film: Monsieur Hulot's Holiday
Silver Screen Wednesday Matinee
A much-loved masterpiece by Jacques Tati introducing the world to the eternally accident-prone Monsieur Hulot.
In his first adventure the well-meaning and endearing character leaves chaos in his wake at an idyllic French seaside resort.
An enduring world cinema favourite, Tati’s Monsieur Hulot undoubtedly borrowed from Chaplin’s Vagabond but Tati adds layers of social commentary and human absurdity to his slapstick.
Tickets £5 (includes FREE ice cream). Café open from 10am for coffee and pre-matinee lunch.
