In 1981, Lucy Irvine answered an advert in Time Out magazine from a man looking for a companion to join him for a year on a desert island. But there was trouble in paradise, and every day became a fight for survival… Nicholas Roeg’s faithful adaptation of Lucy’s memoir stars Amanda Donahoe and Oliver Reed.
