Art in the Arches 2021

Saturday 13 and 27 November, 10am to 3pm

Salisbury Arts Centre in association with Plain Arts

Building on the great reception of between lockdowns Art in the Arches, Salisbury Arts Centre is inviting Plain Arts artists to display and sell their work as part of this event.  It’s a fantastic way to meet and talk to local artists and a brilliant opportunity to buy art created locally. Every week you will encounter a variety of creative disciplines which means that you are sure to find the perfect gift; for friends, family or even yourself!

Our café will be open so it’s a great excuse to grab a coffee and a homemade tasty treat.

This is free to attend and no ticket is required.

Jenny Monds

Jenny Monds is a former librarian and bookseller, who has always enjoyed creating. She is usually to be found with paint or ink on her hands, and her current loves are drawing with pen and wash, and creating multi-layered mixed media paintings on wood panels. She creates small abstract or partially abstract paintings, often incorporating drawing, and using a variety of tools to create texture. Most include a touch of red.

Sian Rolston

I’m Sian, an Artist and Illustrator living in Wiltshire. I recently moved away from the scenic Devon coast and have found Wiltshire with it’s wide valleys, rolling hills, picturesque landscapes and historic buildings to be a fantastic source of inspiration.

I am particularly influenced by bold colours, abstract shapes and botanical themes. My main medium is watercolour but I also enjoy using acrylics for painting on canvas.

Charlotte Rose Art

I'm a self-taught artist and qualified ecologist. Salisbury 'born and bred', I try to immerse the viewer in the scene, hopefully encouraging them to value and protect our fragile natural world. I work mainly in acrylic, with a developing graphic style of bold colour and form.
