The Ghost of Gosswater is a gothic adventure set in the Lake District at the turn of the century, following strong-willed heroine Agatha Asquith as she untangles the dark mystery of her own past. Award-winning author Lucy Strange will examine ghost stories, atmosphere, and the greatest source of inspiration for her writing - our British landscapes. She will talk about her journey from being a young bookworm to a published writer, and about researching, writing and editing her books - from her acclaimed debut The Secret of Nightingale Wood to the bestselling Sisters of the Lost Marsh.
