About

Friday 1 March at 6.30pm

To the Lighthouse is a solo performance piece that explores and represents the theme of solitude using an unusual material - PVC plastic. It is an Expressionist and Existentialist piece focusing on the different ways in which physicality can be explored using the plastic tubes as well as dance and circus mediums. As we watch an anonymous futuristic human being creating her own fantastical world, we are left to question whether it's better to live in solitude and preserve our inner tranquillity.

Residencies at: Theatre Delicatessen, Circusplaneet, Jacksons Lane, Arc Stockton, Circuscentrum, Greentop Circus Centre, Proteus Theatre, Centre de Création, Clarence Mews, Circomedia, De Kroon GC, Cambridge Junction and Harlow Playhouse.

With special thanks to: Danspunt, Circomedia and The Place
