About

Thursday 21 February at 5.30pm

Brilliant South West comapny Eden's Cave will be in residence with us during the festival developing a new piece of work and will be sharing their work-in-progress on Thursday 21 February at 5.30pm

Eden’s Cave is a laboratory, training-based theatre company based in the south west, creating powerful, imaginative, and moving theatre experiences and to bridge connections between theatre, community and the natural world.

Forests across the globe are borders to a wild, mysterious and enchanting world. But, do we really understand them, and what will we discover through a true encounter with the forest. Forests explores humankind’s relationship with the natural world and what forests can teach us about connection in contemporary life. Inspired by conversations with environmentalists, travellers, woodsmen and spiritual leaders, Forests combines research with visceral physicality and polyphonic singing to create an enthralling epic, taking the audience on a deep and poetic meeting of the forest.

Join our Fest West residence at the end of the week for an informal sharing, a chance to catch a work-in-progress extract of her new show.
