Classes and Courses

Workshops Autumn 2019

We're looking forward to welcoming you back to our Classes and Courses as soon as we can!

CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

For children aged 7 and under and their families, come along to our monthly Story Time Movers, get crafty at smARTies, and experiment in our two Children’s Pottery courses.

YOUNG PEOPLE

For young people aged 5 – 18 we run courses including Stage 65 Youth Theatre, Young Ambassadors and Youth Pottery.

ADULTS

Come along to one of our Adults classes or courses! We run our ever-popular Adult Pottery courses* and previous offers have included Stand-Up Comedy for Beginners, Learn to Sew: Slipper Boots, a beginners’ art course, and Introduction to Gouache.

For older people, join us at DANCE SIX-0 and Mind the Gap.

*Please note there is a very great demand for these courses whilst the number of spaces is limited by the size of the pottery studio which is currently running to capacity.

The enrolment system operates on a first come first served basis.

We recommend that you set up an online account with a password prior to enrolment. We also recommend that if you are trying to enrol at the point that the tickets are released and get a “sold" message please try again in five or ten minutes.

SEASONAL

We programme unique masterclasses run by Artists exhibiting in current exhibitions. Previous masterclasses have included Drawn to Basket Making with Louise Brown, and Drawn to Slipware with Jennifer Hall, as well seasonal experiences like Festive Wreath Making with Pod and Pip.

POTTERY

Autumn term 2020 will start again in the week commencing 22 September. (Please note all sessions are now full*)

We will be teaching all groups in a socially distanced way; splitting our adult classes across two rooms and, for now, halving the capacity of our children’s classes.
We know that our pottery classes are very popular and this is why we have introduced Pottery@Home. Please take a look and have a go with clay at home. We will then biscuit fire your work.
Once we pilot our pottery tuition delivery in a socially distanced way we will look to introduce more sessions. Please keep an eye on our website or social media @wiltscreative for updates.

*As we entered into lockdown, we promised the students who enrolled on the cancelled Spring/Summer term 2020 that they would have their space when we re-opened provided that they had not requested a refund. As a consequence our Winter term is now fully booked.

EARLY YEARS INSTRUMENTS
