Support for Trained Advisers
As a Training and Support Agency, Salisbury Playhouse offers a range of provision to Arts Award Advisers. All sessions are carried out by an experienced Arts Award consultant.
FREE for trained advisers
Experienced trainers offer portfolio, planning and moderation advice at your venue. Support surgeries provide an opportunity for advisors to explore and develop the delivery of Arts Award in their setting including support with;
- Planning the delivery of Arts Award projects
- Evidence collection for Arts Award
- Refreshing your understanding of the criteria for the various Arts Award levels
- Preparing for moderation and assessing portfolios.
Attending a surgery is also a good way to meet other advisers in your area and share practice.
The next Arts Award support surgery is Thursday 1 February
The surgery will be for Arts Award advisers to refresh, explore and develop their Bronze and Silver Arts Award delivery.
We can carry out site visits to your Arts Award Centre lasting approximately 2 hours. Support visits are designed for those who have had a difficult or unsuccessful moderation or are delivering Arts Award to large groups or identified targeted groups of young people.
REMOTE SUPPORT SESSIONS
Sessions last for one to two hours and can be offered either by phone, via email, or online via Skype depending upon the adviser’s preference.
All Support Visits, Support Surgeries and Remote Sessions can be booked through the Trinity website at www.artsaward.co.uk.
