COMING THIS MARCH: GLENN MOORE
Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Glenn Moore is a comedian, actor and one of the best and most prolific joke writers in the country. Glenn’s 2022 Fringe show sold out with rave five star reviews from The Mail on Sunday, Chortle and The Courier, amongst a number of other publications. His Radio 4 series ‘Glenn Moore’s Almanac’ will be airing later this year.
Glenn is a regular face on TV, having appeared on Mock The Week (BBC), The Russell Howard Hour (Sky), Guessable (Comedy Central), Rob Delaney’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central) and The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2). He is a regular guest on The Great American Joke Off (CW network) in the US.
He can be heard daily as one quarter of The Dave Berry Breakfast Show on Absolute Radio, the UK’s biggest commercial radio breakfast show. He also appears regularly on The News Quiz (Radio 4).
Bilal Zafar - Opener
Bilal Zafar was nominated for the lastminute.com Best Newcomer Award for his debut show, CAKES, at the Edinburgh Fringe. Bilal also won the New Act of the Year award joining the company of previous winners such as Stewart Lee, Ardal O’Hanlon, Joe Wilkinson and Linda Smith.
He was the runner up at the Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year competition. He has appeared on BBC3, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Asian Network, and has written for The Independent.
Laura Lexx - MC
Regional comedian, author and actor Laura Lexx is vivacious, impassioned, intelligent and one of the best MCs/Headliners on the comedy scene. Born and bred in the home county of Somerset, Laura’s comfy demeanour, warmth and energy delightfully juxtapose her biting wit, sharp tongue and brutal audience take downs, which just can’t stop going viral.
Following her Live at The Apollo (BBC) debut Laura received an unprecedented reaction both from the live crowd and audiences at home, which lead to her appearing in shows such as Mock The Week (BBC), Hypothetical (Dave) and Celebrity Mastermind (BBC) to name a few.
