Mind The Gap is an opportunity for older people to meet and explore the creative arts in the safe surroundings of Salisbury Playhouse. The group meets fortnightly for coffee, conversation and creativity!

Friday 12 January | Play Reading - Barney Norris

Writer and theatre maker Barney Norris will lead this session, exploring the work of contemporary South African playwright Athol Fugard.

Friday 26 January | Mask Workshop - Clare Threadgold

Explore the world of Trestle masks. An active, playful workshop with drama techniques and exercises focused on the transformative and transfixing power of masks.

Friday 9 February | Roche Court Education Trust Talk

Roche Court Sculpture Park is situated just outside of Salisbury. In this talk experts from their education trust will uncover the parks’ collection of modern and contemporary art.

Friday 23 February | Technical Backstage Session - One Last Push

The technical team behind our latest production by Chris Chibnall will show you the backstage tricks and techniques used to bring this show to life.

Friday 8 March | International Women’s Day - Louise Jordan

Songwriter and performer Louise Jordan invites you to respond creatively to International Women’s Day, prior to her concert at Salisbury Arts Centre. Please bring a song, story, photo of a woman that inspires you.

Friday 22 March | Printmaking - Zoe Prichard

Join local printmaker Zoe Prichard for a relaxed session exploring the creative process of mono-printing and chine-colle. We will be using everyday objects and materials to create a series of individual prints.
