WILTSHIRE CREATIVE CANCELS PERFORMANCES AT SALISBURY PLAYHOUSE AND SALISBURY ARTS CENTRE
In response to the COVID-19 virus situation and following government guidelines and advice from industry bodies, Wiltshire Creative has made the decision to cancel performances and events at Salisbury Playhouse and Salisbury Arts Centre with immediate effect until 16 May.
Sebastian Warrack, Executive Director, said:
“We are very sorry to disappoint audiences but, at this difficult and unprecedented time for everyone, we believe this to be the right and proper action. The wellbeing of our audiences, staff, volunteers and artists is paramount.
“We hope that audiences will return in the future when, more than ever, we will need all the support we can receive to continue offering a full range of arts, entertainment and cultural activities.”
Anyone who has booked tickets for events between these dates will be contacted shortly. Customers are requested not to call or visit either venue.
A decision on events following this period will be taken at a later date.
